Genoni is a small town at the foot of the Giara in the province of southern Sardinia, with just over 800 inhabitants. Located in the geographical region of Sarcidano, it has an altitude of 447 meters. above sea level. Known not only for the Giara, for the hill of "Santu Antine", in which there are the remains of a Punic temple. Probably the name "Genoni" derives from the goddess Juno, to whom it was dedicated.
